Volkswagen Golf GTI W12-650 Concept
The Volkswagen GTI W12-650 concept. It has 650 horsepower. It goes from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds. Its top speed is 201mph (325 km/h). It has a 6.0L biturbo W12 engine mounted behind the front seats. And it will probably never go into production. Still, the engine sounds nice. Watch the videos.

I can't help myself, but it looks so ugly though I actually like Golf. But these guy may suceded with the technics but totally failed with the design.

And again Volkswagen shows the impossible possible after the Veyron with this Golf W12-650. What an technically amazing monster. And sure they'll make a few for the very wealthy people.

@Lexx: But why would they try something like this on a Golf? Why not make a proper new design and come up with a car which has both style and performance. This Golf is incredible performance-wise but at the same time it's still 'just a Golf'.

From what I know they did this for the GTI event at Wörthersee Austria. I guess some people at VW had too many free time left... but the TT Clubsport quattro that Audi presented there is indeed a lot nicer to watch :)

Thank god they just made one! haha. I like the casual Golf pretty much, but this one = eww.

I like the design; looks pretty tough. The back, however, makes me think of the Scream/Scary Movie mask.
