Tread Softly By Heebok Lee
A poem in a short movie. I guess that’s how I can describe this clip by filmmaker Heebok Lee. Some of the images remind me of the Magnethosphere clip that I posted a few weeks ago. Does anyone know of any other examples of poems being used as the leading part of an animation or a short movie? Leave a comment if you do. In the meantime watch this amazing video.

Well, I immidiately thought of "Vincent", a song that someone combined with a nice collage of Van Gogh's paintings. The only thing that I can find that resembles the one I seen couple of years ago is this, not great but illustrates the point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi_P8XwrSCU by the way, great blog you have here, Martijn... goed gedone, yohi (heheh, not sure of spelling) cheers, paul

That is just super nice. I like Yeats, and I like the suttle animations, especially the typography. It reminds me of The Fountain? - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414993/ - stunningly beautiful and touching.

@Paul: That Vincent-clip is a great combination of images and music... 'Vincent' was one of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar when I was a kid (still am)... :-) PS You mean: 'goed gedaan' :-)) Good to hear you like Fresh Creation. Tips are always welcome. @MJunge: I never heard of the movie The Fountain but a score of 7,8 on IMDB is really good... perhaps I'll rent it next week... Thanks for the comment!
