H&M Knows What Marketing Is
While I was on my way to work I saw this crowd of young girls in front of H&M. They were all hoping to buy one or more pieces of the Roberto Cavalli guest collection that was made exclusively for H&M. I had seen people getting crazy like this before. But that was in the USA. Now it’s coming to Holland. Don’t think I like that. But the marketing people of H&M are doing their job very well.

I don't get it, where is the craziness in this clip? What i see are people standing in line waiting to buy something they think is exclusive. And this phenomenon is exclusive to the US? People worldwide will wait in lines for anything limited. Concert tickets are a good example. Perhaps not in Holland because you're way better than everyone else. Oh and by the way, I'm not American...

@ervybaby: The craziness at H&M started when the doors opened. Here's a couple of videos that show what happened in Amsterdam after they opened the doors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDST12FY8Bs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SS5XdBHFXXI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u29r8NXjUHk About standing in line for limited stuff. Well, concert tickets are sold out because the areas where the concerts take place have a maximum amount of people that they can contain. That space is limited. 'Limited clothes' is a different story. Companies CHOOSE to make the clothes limited by making only a certain amount of them. I'm not saying that Holland is better in any way, the only thing that I'm noticing is that certain behaviour starts in the US and then is copied in Europe.
