Flickr Completed With Fixr
Fixr claims to be a free service that “helps you to close the gaps in the digital record of your life”. It asks users to submit a detailed description of the moment they “missed”, i.e. did not take a picture of. After this Fixr will do its very best to provide you with an image to fit your needs.
Initially meant as a statement which would hopefully trigger thoughts about and awareness of the use of photography, Fixr received overwhelming feedback. More than 100 requests were submitted daily, many were beautiful, funny, poetic, thoughtful or revealing. Almost all of them indicated strong commitment.
