Electronic Braille Reader For The Web

A nifty machine turns the texts on webpages into braille. Seems like a very useful invention though software that reads the texts out loud are available too. But perhaps that is like comparing a normal book with an audio book.

I used to have a nearly blind classmate in 1993 who could already translate anything on-screen to a braille-reader. The machine was a lot bigger, and the bumps where on a bar instead of a dial, but essentially it was the same technique.

So this is not as revolutionary as the video wants us to believe.
