Copy Cat Coca Cola
Sagi Koren writes: “Back in 1996, my friend and I had created this movie (above) on 2 old PC’s at his house. Our intention was to show our 3D graphic capabilities to post-production companies. We also took it to Coca Cola. They loved it. However, when we asked if they would like to use it, they told us that it does not go hand in hand with their advertising campaign. About two months ago - 10 years after they’ve seen our presentation - Coca Cola released a similar movie (below).”
What do you think? Is Coca Cola stealing ideas?

Great 3D work guys, almost unbelievable that its 10 years old now, but the concept and especially execution of the new CC commercial are in my book significantly different than your original idea. The only connection is the drop-in of the coin. After that, something altogether different happens...

in the original movie the key actor was the coin in CC movie the key role plays the bottle of CC - no offence but there's similarity in those two movies - just like Edo wrote - everything differs right after the coin goes into vending machine
