NTT Data and Fujiyama have launched a distributed rendering video production demonstration experiment. They are making a video about Japan’s most famous battle, the Battle of Sekigahara. Expected resolution of the video will be approximately 8 million pixels, or quadruple the resolution of the current high-definition standard. They hope this will become the next-generation digital cinema format.
