YouTube’s Coolest New Feature
After YouTube’s integrated video advertising, they just added another cool feature: Annotations. It allows you to add text and links to your YouTube videos. Really cool. Here’s an interactive card trick which shows you what that looks like. I included a ‘how to’ video to help you get started. Feel free to mail me your results after adding annotations to some of your own videos.

Who Wants The World At Their Fingertips?
Okay, this is not a ‘fresh creation’ as such but the question that SupaDupaFlyGirl poses is quite interesting and relevant for creative minds, I think. Is having the world at your fingertips a good thing?

Free-Air Interactivity
About a month ago my post about the interactive hologram generated quite a lot of buzz on the web. Here’s a new video which shows the same technology being used in other situations. For example: Browsing through your photos or having a look at a car from any angle by simply moving your hand in the air.

Microsoft Infinite Zoom Touchwall
Ian Sands of Microsoft demonstrates the TouchWall. It is capable of infinite zooming which allows you to overview a massive amount of media and instantly viewing the content by zooming in. It looks very intuitive but I wonder what happens if I zoom in on a Word document and want to start editing it. But perhaps it’s more suitable as a presentation or interaction screen.

Magical Mirrors
These Magical Mirrors bring back the child in you. You can find them in Germany and as you pass by them they respond to your movements. They also respond to the traffic that passes by. This turns the shopping area into a playground at nighttime. Just like this and this. The clip is in German but don’t let that stop you from watching it.
