French designer Philippe Starck doesn’t use any slides during his intriguing, funny and heavily accented presentation about why he designs. To make his point he puts everything in perspective by going through human evolution and by making statements like “God is the answer when we don’t know the answer”. 17 minutes of evolution, funny moments and inspiration.

Global Creativity Crisis
Creativity decreases as you get older. That’s the normal rule around the world. But it’s not natural. The reason is the way we teach children. The focus should be on learning how to learn, while we tend to focus on what to learn. An inspiring presentation by Tony Buzan. It reminded me of the presentation by Ken Robinson which is also about children being taught the wrong skills.
