Waaz - Interactive Shelf Speaker
Waaz is a device and a piece of furniture, a stereo set and a shelf. It is connected to a computer that doubles as a device for audio diffusion and archiving digital music files. The interface for selecting and playing music is original because there is none. The mere presence of an audio CD or of specific labels launches or stops the music in the play slot: the cover is the wand. Beautiful design.

Custom Light Table Desk
Matt Nuzzaco shows off his new light table desk. He made it himself and it looks pretty cool. It goes up and down by the push of a button and you can switch on the lights underneath the surface if you want to turn it into something that some people use to put their glass on in a trendy bar.

What Matters To You?
“I mean, what really matters to me, that thing that keeps me awake even after 2 days without closing my eyes, that thing who always want to make it better and better and it’s never good enough, that thing that makes me want to not only “be good” but be the best.”

Sunlight Recites Poem
This is the One Day Poem Pavilion by Jiyeon Song. The pavilion is reminiscent of a geodesic dome. When daylight filters through the perforations on the surface, a poem becomes revealed on the ground as a projection. Within the pavilion, the poem can be seen between 8 AM and 4 PM. The poem consists of 5 lines with each line lasting about an hour. The slowness of message offers us a meditative moment within our hectic lives.
