YouTube’s Coolest New Feature
After YouTube’s integrated video advertising, they just added another cool feature: Annotations. It allows you to add text and links to your YouTube videos. Really cool. Here’s an interactive card trick which shows you what that looks like. I included a ‘how to’ video to help you get started. Feel free to mail me your results after adding annotations to some of your own videos.

Big Buck Bunny - Open Source Animation Film
Here’s the trailer of the animation film Big Buck Bunny. It was made by 7 people in 7 months at the Amsterdam-based Blender Institute. All used software can be downloaded for free. The film will be available for free too after its release (May 20th), including all the files that were used to make it.

56 Inches Of Online Dating
I Want You To Want Me is an interactive installation which explores the search for love and self in the world of online dating. It chronicles the world’s long-term relationship with romance, across all ages, genders, and sexualities, using real data collected from Internet dating sites every few hours. The piece is presented on a 56” high-resolution touch-screen, hanging vertically on the wall, and was installed at MoMA on February 14, 2008, Valentine’s Day.

Viso - Interactive Woman
Design agency Bartproject made an interactive installation called Viso. It explores the possibility of animating images and interacting with them. Viso stimulates an active emotional and physical communication between the observer and a virtual personage: the silhouette of a woman’s face.
